Our approach

Listening comes first.

A thoughtful space for the full picture—not just the parts that are easy to put into words.

More than one feeling can be true

Adoption can involve love and loss, belonging and uncertainty, gratitude and grief. No feeling needs to cancel another out. There is room to explore complexity without pressure to arrive at a particular conclusion.

Your voice, at your pace

Support should respect your choices, your boundaries, and what you feel ready to share. You are not expected to tell your whole story at once or work toward goals someone else has chosen for you.

An adoption-informed perspective

Identity, family relationships, attachment, separation, and personal history can all intersect with adoption. We make room for these experiences while recognizing that no two people—or families—are the same.

Respect for every story

Birth parents, adoptive families, and adoptees each deserve to be heard. Honoring one perspective does not require dismissing another. Care begins with curiosity and compassion, not assumptions.
